Mission
Mixxed Traffic Mentoring Men's a Second Chance program mission is to empower young men with a positive outlook, life skills, making them an asset to the community. Mixxed Traffic mentoring team will help achieve goals and a path to all services offered in Longview. Help achieve goals and a path to ROI (Return On Investment) for the community and all Longview services, giving a "Hand UP" not a hand out...
Mixxed Traffic Mentoring Men program are as follows:
a. The candidate will work with assigned Mentors to assessing skills
b. Choose an apprenticeship based on skills. (Air-Conditioning, Plumbing, Electrical)
c. Choose an online course. (College Courses, Claim Adjuster, HVAC Training, Plumbing Training, Electrician Courses, Computer courses, Online Culinary school, Class-A CDL Driver, are a few to choose from.)
d. Create a free account with GCF Learning, (Required).
e. FAA Drone License Program.
f. Give Mentors an update on any community services completed.
g. My Website is Spiritually Motivated primarily due to the relationship I'm seeking with God...
h. Give young men hope and self-confidence.
Mentors will administer skills training in a controlled environment. Every young man has to be empowered to stimulate the skills that they have.
Mentors will make a detailed record of the achievements of every young man. Each man is of great concern and will be surrounded by safety protection while in the program.
This facility will also rent office space, health training rooms, mentoring rooms for privacy, a full kitchen, an auditorium for events, Internet service, security. The building will have a rooftop garden.
An area for Military Veterans, the room will have six (6) computers, VoIP phone and TV service. The room will consist of an environment of comfort, computers to do job searches or complete online training, and check profile benefits.
Senior Citizens will be granted an opportunity to learning all abut computers, phones, tablets, and laptop operations.
Every young man will have the opportunity to travel to exciting places throughout the local area, colleges and universities, workplaces, factories, and other exciting employment places.
Each young man interested in the program should embrace the knowledge administered in all its functions. Training completed will be stored on a flash drive protected with a password created by the mentor assigned to the young man.
The following list of abilities is not limited:
1. Respect to parents, leaders, authorities of the law, family members, and friends.
2. Etiquette and social behavior
3. Dressing attire.
4. Home repair; cleaning, lights, plumbing, simple electronics, lawn care.
5. Small engine repair, car maintenance
6. Resume writing.
7. Computer access to help with jobs searching
8. Learn to re-create a relationship with local businesses.

Candidate Handbook
The candidate interviewed for an assessment evaluation of his ability, quality, and nature to placement in the program—three mentors interviewing for a post in the correct group for training, assignment in an apprenticeship company. etc...
The spiritual status is embraced and encouraged should there be no preference. The encouragement of God in the candidate assures the heart is on a path of respect for embracing the program, respect the mentors' guidance, transparency building trust, and be aware of progress in the program.
The parents or parent, guardant, or custody person are encouraged to receive a progress report supporting the candidate. The guardian will be information on progress, will be administrated weekly.
Mentor's involvement in candidate's progress creates enthusiasm about and commitment to their internship. The professional learning capability is a meaningful, sensible working knowledge for candidates.
